Amari Cooper is an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Cooper was drafted by the Oakland Raiders fourth overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Cooper was born in Miami, Florida, and attended Miami Northwestern High School. He played college football at the University of Alabama, where he was a standout receiver and punt returner. In his three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Cooper caught 228 passes for 3,463 yards and 31 touchdowns. He was also a two-time All-American and won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver in 2014.
Cooper was selected fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft.
