The series has featured an amazing array of characters over the years, from the heroic Link to the evil Ganon, from the wise Princess Zelda to charming companions. With so many characters to choose from, ranking them all can be a difficult task, but that's exactly what we're going to do in this article.
We've taken into account the impact of each character on the series, their popularity with fans, and their overall awesomeness. We've also tried to avoid bias towards characters from recent games, and given equal weight to characters from all eras of the series.
