The Delaware County Humane Society (DCHS) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of homeless, abused and neglected animals. Since its founding in 1957, DCHS has rescued and reunited more than 40,000 animals with their families.

DCHS's mission is to provide shelter, medical care, and adoption services to homeless animals in Delaware County. We also work to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and to promote animal welfare through our various programs and initiatives.
