Ibarra was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on September 25, 1985. She is the daughter of actor Juan Carlos Ibarra and actress Lucía Méndez. Ibarra is married to actor Francisco Gattorno. The couple have two children.

Ibarra is a passionate advocate for social justice. She is a member of the board of directors of the Mexican Red Cross. Ibarra is also a supporter of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Future projects

Ibarra is currently working on several projects, including a new film by director Alejandro González Iñárritu. She is also set to star in a new television series by Netflix.
