Radians measure angles in terms of the radius of a circle. One radian is defined as the angle subtended by an arc of a circle equal in length to the radius of the circle.
To convert radians to degrees, multiply the radian measure by 180/π:
Degrees = Radians × 180/π
Example: To convert 2π radians to degrees:
Degrees = 2π × 180/π = 360°
To convert degrees to radians, multiply the degree measure by π/180:
Radians = Degrees × π/180
Example: To convert 45° to radians:
Radians = 45° × π/180 = π/4
